Is it okay to turn off the enable load for linked entities within my dataflow? This removes the lightning symbol, which makes me think it's not good. The computed entities will still be on for building reports.
Solved! Go to Solution.
If you disable the load of the linked entities, then the computed entity cannot use the enhanced compute engine so your performance will likely suffer.
Why do you want to disable the linked entity?
My understanding is that if you disable the linked entity, you step down to "Pro features". If your linked entities are enabled, you take advantage of "Premium features".
This is where I found this information, under the "Enhanced Compute Engine" section:

A very useful YouTube video which explains that the enhanced compute engine is able to take advantage of query folding against a SQL cache:

Hello @akhaliq7,
İf there is a lighthing icon that means Computed Tables and you can use in premium licence such as referance, merge etc.
But if you turn off the enable load in your table(lets say A table) you will not see the A table when get the data from the dataflow A table. But you refereanced A table and your new table name is B and when you try to get data, you can see B table and it will be sync with A table.
İf you really doesn't need A table that more efficient way. You can think like Power BI Desktop version.
