Embedded URL Filter

Hey  Guys,

I have a filtered embedded URL which works great but the problem is that when tthe filtere is applied the user wont be able to go to the slicers within the report and change the option, it will only give the option of the filtered value within the slicer, is there a way that once the url is filtered the user can go and select other values from that filtered column or is this not possible

Thanks in advance!

Hi @em12340,

Did you filter the report by this way to get a link like this?

https://app.powerbi.com/groups/me/reports/8d6e300b-696f-498e-b611-41ae03366851/ReportSection3?filter=Store/TerritoryChain eq 'NC – Lindseys'

If you want to all values to be dispalyed, then just delete the bold part and report the report.

Reagrds,

That fine , i understand that part, but when i go into my report i will only be presented with the option i have filtered, is there a way that even after i have filtered and i go into the report that im still presented with other options to choose from or can you not do this ?

Thanks!

Hi @em12340,

Actually it is not possible, As you only get the filtered data by the link. So you cannot choose other options here.
