Editing Python script once imported into PBI

Once I click get data, python code and copy and paste my code into here, create my graphs etc, If I need to edit my python code from PowerBI I cant find a way to view or change it. Does this mean I need to start again from scratch? I lose all my graphs this way and I need to refresh these every month. Thanks

Hi @Anonymous ,

Try to use Python under the Transform tab in the Power Query Editor.

Refer to:https://stackoverflow.com/questions/58226050/edit-python-script-used-as-data-entry-in-power-bi

Best Regards,
Liang

@Anonymous Are you editing in Desktop or in Service? Is this with a dataflow/query or in a visualization?

Hi Greg

It seems I can only input python script using the desktop version, but I do have on prem pro license too.

Thanks for your reply.
