Dynamic value text

HI all,

Quite new to this, working on a Dynamic value text box

Actual £26,213.41 VS Target is £23,943.12 (We are £2,270.29  Based on the previous value Im looking to display the text "Above" or "Below")

something like if Total <0="Below" & >0 = "Above"

Hope it makes sense.

Cheers

Hi There,

Thank you for your reply unfrotunetly this dosnt give the needed outcome,

I am looking for Value 3 to change to either above or below based on value 3 in the example below the blue value is above £0 so "Above" if the value in below goes below £0 then this changes to "Below"

£26,213.41 VS Target is £23,943.12 (We are £2,270.29 Above target)

Hey @Natta ,

I guess [Actual] and [Target] are measures. Then the following measure should do it:

myMeasure = IF( [Actual] - [Target] <0, "Below", "Above" )

Otherwise you have to use SUM( myTable[Actual] ).

If you need any help please let me know.
If I answered your question I would be happy if you could mark my post as a solution ✔️ and give it a thumbs up 👍

Best regards

Thank you for your reply, Unfrotunetly this didnt work, the values are already calculated I just need to change the text based on the values in blue so that this would change the text to either Above or below.

In this example the blue named is named "Value 3" and the pink is"Value 6"

£26,213.41 VS Target is £23,943.12 (We are £2,270.29 Above target)

£23,000.00 VS Target is £23,943.12 (We are -£943.12 Below target)

Thanks again

@Natta

Something like this may be:

Above Target = "We are " & FORMAT([Value 3],"£#0,0") & " above target"
Below Target = "We are " & FORMAT([Value 6],"£#0,0") & " below target"
