Dynamic Row level security

Dear all,

I added 2 row security roles in desktop and published it to service. But its not working and when i test the role is service, the report is blank. 

not sure what i am doing wrong?

it somehow worked after switching to dax editor and typing the code. 

but if i use default editor, it doenst work, i believe for DRLS - we need to use only codes using dax editor

Have you assigned specific RLS group to any security group or people? You can find it in securty settings of the semantic model in the service.

Yes, I did, but before that, in desktop itself i am unable to view as role - when i wanted to test the roles.

I don't understand what do you expect as result when these groups are filled with users.
What do you expect to happen?
Can you pls describe.

I have a table with customer wise targets and sales - I need the corresponding sales executive to see only customers related to him and not all.
