Disabling an automatic dataflow refresh for specified duration

Dear All,

I have a need to disable automatic refresh of my dataflow for the first 10 days of each month (after that to be updated daily).

Since we only have daily/weekly refresh frequencies, is there any easy way of disabling automatic refresh for any desired period?

Or manual refresh would be my only choice?

Thank you!

Hi @Giorgi1989 ,

In my opinion, this cannot be done, the design makes it so that your refresh can be based on days and weeks, but cannot be set to a specified number of days in a specified month.

Refer:

Best Regards

Lucien

Thanks Lucien. That is my understanding as well. I just wondered whether anyone might be in possession of knowledge of some sort of workaround. 🙂

if you have access to something like devops you can probably run your own schedules via powershell but as far as i know not using the default scheduler in power bi service itself, no.

If I took the time to answer your question and I came up with a solution, please mark my post as a solution and /or give kudos freely for the effort 🙂 Thank you!
