I am currently working on a dashboard that deals with real-time data from the web orders that get placed. The data that I need comes from multiple sources and I have the query scheduled in another temporary database that gets updated with the recent order numbers every 10 minutes. The dashboard is designed to look for orders in the last one year and it gets updated every day with the new orders been placed I am looking for an alternate solution that can let me have an incremental load - a solution offered to power bi premium. I looked into URL parameters and am not sure if that's the most efficient way - cause a refresh would mean loading3 million rows every time and that's inefficient I hope you can connect with me and suggest some alternatives.
I have 3 million rows of data from sql server and a scheduled refresh once in 15 minutes- will lead to refreshing 3 million rows again. I am looking at an alternate solution to incremental load. How does data streaming work?
