I am currently refreshing a PowerBi report, running in the Power BI service, every 200 seconds. My DBA is reporting that the SQL query is locking for this amount of time. The DB account the report is using is read only - the query only takes seconds to run and return data - it just appears to keep the session open until the next refresh. How do I stop the SQL query locking the DB and close the session?
Hi, the report is force refreshed by the browser every 200 seconds, we have a small team moitoring real time API requests and have 2 reports on a display screen with the browser switching between tabs.
Try using APR instead.
