We have a report that we've published to the Power BI service (we hvae pro licenses). Different users are getting different results when they open the report (with no filters being used). For example, in a table visual, the count by date shows a different count on each day. Has anyone come across this issue before?
The dataset is based on an import from a SQL database and some excel spreadsheets stored on our network. The report has a scheduled refresh twice a day. All users have the same permissions, no row level security.

Yes! We engaged Microsoft support and they found that it is actually a bug in the service. They did help us find a workaround. The issue had something to do with the report users setting their own filter on the report in the service and then when we updated the report with no filters and posted the new report to the service, it was somehow maintaining what the user originally selected even though it did not appear that they had selected anything. The only way to fix this is to have the end user select the reset filters icon at the top of the report (if highlighted in yellow, it means there are filters applied). The challenge is that the end users have to do it and they may not realize that they aren't seeing the correct data. Hope that helps!
Hello @Lisa , i have encountered the same issue recently and it got fixed by republishing the report to the app. On the workspace, the values were same as other others (with zero filters applied). But on the app, it had different results. It's a strange case of how it can happen to a specific user, but it got fixed by republishing.
HI Liza!
Have you found out what happened to you Power BI report? We rae facing the same problem (same link, same accounts, no filters and different results). I know: it sounds impossible but we don`t know what else could be done - we have already refreshed from different users, uploaded the spreadsheet again and the results remain different for users (it shows 2 different results for more than 1 user, to say: users A and B see result X and users C and D see result Y).
We work with Power BI for a awhile (2 years) and have never seen anything like this situation.
Can anyone help?

Hi @LisaK , it happens to me also, but the reset of the visual it's not solving my issue, I don't know, probably because the user ha some personal bookmark on the report.
Hi @LisaK , I just came across your post as we're experiencing it now. Do you have a link to the bug by chance?
Hi Swindhorst! Have you found a solution? Im experiencing the same issue, with two different reports.
Unfortunately, I do not.
I know it seems impossible but we have checked filters, deleted reports and republished. At this point, we are at a loss. We have engaged Microsoft support on this issue.
Hi, @LisaK
The problem seems to be impossible if your report doesn’t have any RLS and filters applied, I think you should let the end-users make sure again if the filter options for all three levels have been cleared because the selections are easy to be ignored in the visual filter or report filter.
More info about three types of filters in power bi
