Dataset won't acknowledge data gateway

Hi guys,

I've made a report that uses a file on our corporate server as a data source. I successfully created a gateway for it in the Power Platform Admin Centre, and gave myself access, but the report/dataset still won't 'see' the gateway and allow me to associate the data source with it.

Does anyone know how this stuff works and what could be wrong?

Any tips much appreciated.

Hi  @Anonymous ,

You may go to the Manage Gateways page to see if your gateway role has permission to create data source gateways

Power Platform admin center – Data(preview) – On – premises data gateways – Manage users
