Dataset settings do not recognize data source already setup in Gateway

I am trying to map ODBC datasource shown below to a newly setup Enterprise Gateway.

Dataset.GIF

I have successfully setup this datasource on the Gateway (see image below) . But this is not recognized by the Gateway Connection dialog shown above.

Datasource.GIF

I suspect this is due to escape characters "\" introduced in filepath under Gateway connection dialog. Also entire connection string is converted to lower case, and does not match actual connection string used in the gateway as shown below. Note upper case in driver name, and fil property in the actual connection string below.

dbq=\\ncxxxxxx\shared\quant\sxxxxxxx xxxxxx\reporting\database\daart\daart.accdb;driver={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb, *.accdb)};driverid=25;fil=MS Access;max buffersize=2048;pagetimeout=5

Will appreciate any help to map this datasource in the gateway

I have tried using a dsn but i get an invalid username or password error

Dont configure directly in Gateway. Please remove it and try to navigate to Dataset settings and Gateway Connection, From here you can click on "Add to Gateway" and configure to the Gateway.

Note:- Use same credentials in Desktop and Service.
