Connect to SQL server with Public IP
Hi,
I have power BI desktop file connected to SQL server, this SQL Server instance is installed on a server with Public IP and accessable everywhere.
After I published it on PowerBI.com, i was unable to refresh the dataset nor setting the scheduled refresh and it is asking to install the gatway.
my question here do i still need the gateway even if my SQL server accessable?? or i did some mistake??

As the data source hosted on-presmises server, Gateway is required for refresh.
