I have created Power BI dataflows that are stored in my organisations Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2. There are many datasets that are created from these dataflows which all began to fail last night with the following error:
| Data source error: | DataflowsStorageAccountKeyRetrievalForbidden. The exception was raised by the IDataReader interface. Please review the error message and provider documentation for further information and corrective action. Table: Budget. |
| Cluster URI: | WABI-AUSTRALIA-SOUTHEAST-redirect.analysis.windows.net |
| Activity ID: | 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000 |

It appears that the datasets are no longer able to read the data from the dataflows even though they have been working fine for months. I also tried to connect to a dataflow entity from Power BI desktop and received the same error. Has anyone else had this issue?
Hi, did you ever get this resolved?
we have exactly the same issue and are struggling to find the problem and a solution.
like you we're using our own ADLS gen2 as the store and dataflows were originally working without error. then suddently stopped with the same error.
even new dataflows have the same error so we cannot even re-build them.
hi @Lander24
If you could refresh the dataflow in power bi service?
Regards,
Lin
