Hello,
I have a dataflow connected to an excel file in sharepoint, reading data in columns in a normal sheet (no table formatting) and I receive this error everytime it refreshes :
This file is dropped everyday by someone else and the dataflow refreshes after that.
I did some research and I only found this error linked to Google sheets but nothing really helpful.
The weird thing is that if I simply open the file, then rerun the dataflow, it works. If I don't open and rerun, it still fails.
Has anybody encountered this issue before ?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Regards
Hi @Ant_C ,
Sometimes xlsx files, generated by the third side vendors, have errors in XML schema. Try to open this file in Excel and immediately save it, then close.
You can start by troubleshooting the error based on the following suggestions:
1. Open the problematic Excel file and save it as a new file to see if the problem persists.
2. Repair the Excel file using the built-in Open and Repair tool.
3. Consider recreating the workbook and setting up a new connection to Google Sheets.
I found something which could help.
