Dataflow Unexpected Error

Hi

I'm currently experiencing severe performance issues with PowerBI and have turned to dataflows to improve load speed. I'm trying to load (and then transform) several excel files that reside in a SharePoint site folder. These files are not particularly large, but do require some transformation. I loaded the first of these using dataflows, and did so successfully. I've attempted to load a second several times, but keep  getting a message "We encountered an unexpected error", and then a session ID. When I attempt to navigate back to the host workspace, a popup appears: "Please close the PowerQuery editor to continue". But I have no editors open. Has anyone experienced and resolved this issue? Alternatively is there advice on how to troubleshoot, as the error messages are not helpful at all.

I am having a similar issue. When I tried to combine multiple excel files from Sharepoint I encountered the issue. Now my Dataflow is stuck and there is no way to exit or close the Power Query Have you had any luck fixing the issue. It seems like the cache may need to be cleared or something?

Hi @rfr ,

If you mean the popup like following picture, we need to save the query or cancel it because the it is the power query editor.

Have you tried to combine the two excel file or just get error when connect the second file?
