Dataflow - CDM - Commom Data Model - Customized Entities

Hi there,

Hope you are well!

So, I have been studying dataflow and also CDM in Power BI and I would like to know how to map the data from my data sources to a customized entity. I can see just the Microsoft standards entities and even after I had created a new entity via Power App, I did not get to see this new entity on Map To Standard Entity. Have you guys done it ?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best Regards,

Rafael

Hi @Anonymous ,

Based on your requirement, have you tried creating a dataflow and then selecting Comman Data Service like below?

In addition, you could have a reference of this document which should be helpful.

Hi @v-piga-msft

Thank you for your answer. In this case, what is my server URL? It is not clear for me. I have tried the Blob URL but it did not work.

and further my previous message, I have created a Azute Data Lake Gen2, I have added there a model.json, a simple entity with two attributes, and a data file (.csv) with two records but now I want to read a Excel file with a couple of records and map it to this entity and hence I will have a new file (.csv) with this additional data in my blob. Is it possible?

I guess the option you gave me I will be able to read the data from this Blob, isn't it?

Rafael
