Data resetting alone in power bi service

Hi, could anyone help?

I uploaded a dashboard, data is received from an api. The data is normally loaded into the power bi service, however 2 minutes later, without making any updates, the data appears at zero.

There are other apis in this same file, but only one of the apis is showing this.

After a few attempts, I managed to solve it. I deleted the file in the power bi service, uploaded another one with a different name and it corrected the problem. Before, I did the same process, but with the same file name.

Thanks!!!

When you have a refresh schedule set for your semantic model,  and you upload a PBIX file to the workspace, that triggers an automatic refresh.  So you will have a short period where your users see the data you uploaded from the PBIX, and then that will be replaced again by the service refresh result.

Check for any date/time logic issues. Remember the Power BI Service runs on UTC.

Hi @lbendlin

This is ok, there are no filters with date and time, I also don't use them in the API query.

Hi @EvandoGaspar

Have you ensured that there are no filters on the report?

Also if you go into the semantic model settings has the semantic model been refreshed?

Hi @GilbertQ,

Yes, updating runs normally and there are no filters that could interfere with these values. I don't understand why, I already cleaned the cache, installed it again, cleaned the filters in the visual.

The service and local updates run normally, it is very strange that the data disappears right after showing it on the screen.
