Data refresh question

When I created the power BI report, I uploaded the data using folder. I keep all my data files in one folder and every month i will save the same format data file to the folder. If I have other files that are not the same format as all these data files, but i want to save it under the same folder, will it cause error to the BI report and not able to refresh properly?

Hi @Anonymous ,
You can probably filter the files in folder at the Power Query end itself. This will help you eliminate those additional files at Power Query end while it can still be used in your folder.
