Hi,
Hoping someone can help me with a problem. I have a dashboard that connects to a remote database (we have no control over this database/server, we can only access the data). I had some issues refreshing the data on my laptop where I was getting an error about the certificate being untrusted, but got around this by adding PBI_SQL_TRUSTED_SERVERS: database_address to my accounts environment variables (I did not add them to my computers system environment variables).
However, when I try to refresh the semantic model online, I get the below error.
Data source error{"error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_MashupDataAccessError","pbi.error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_MashupDataAccessError","parameters":{},"details":[{"code":"DM_ErrorDetailNameCode_UnderlyingErrorCode","detail":{"type":1,"value":"-2147467259"}},{"code":"DM_ErrorDetailNameCode_UnderlyingErrorMessage","detail":{"type":1,"value":"Microsoft SQL: A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. How can I stop this from happening? Do I need to add the PBI_SQL_TRUSTED_SERVERS: database_address to my system variables?

Not sure of the gateway version you are using but this announcement might provide some insight on the certificates.
