Data Source is Azure SQL DB and i used directquery instead of import.

Hi. You have to set the credentials for the datasource. Go to the dataset "Schedule Refresh". Then edit credentials like this picture:

edit crededit cred

After adding this you shouldn't see that cross next to the database instance and you will be able to use the report from Power Bi Service.

Hi ibarrau ,

i have done that part already with the authuntication method as Basic, eventhough im getting the same result if im using the import database option the report is generating well but not able to publish the report to public(publish to web).

Thanks,

Venu

Is everything ok in Power Bi Service? is the problem just publish to web?
Check the limitations on that skill to check if have all everything in order.
