Data activator Alert

Greeting everybody ,

i would like to set an alert to one of my KPI in my reprot , for that i used the Data Activator (the preview function of Microsoft Fabric) .

this function  need capacity premium .

in my organisation we have 1 , 2 , 3 and 16 premium capacity .

when i put my workspace in the 1, 2 and 4 the function doesnt work .
But with 16 cores it works .

does anyone know why ? is there a minimum core for the data activator to work ? thanks .

Best regards

That's not a thing.  Do you mean F SKUs?  A Premium P1 is equivalent to a F64.

Please clarify.

Hi, @Rayzo92

I agree with lbendlin's statement, and here are my additions. Different tiers of Premium capacity may have different features and performance limits in your organization. Data Activator, as a preview feature of Microsoft Fabric, may require a higher core count to support its operation.

A 16-core Premium capacity may provide enough resources to support the operation of Data Activator, while a capacity of 1, 2, and 4 cores may not be able to support the feature due to resource constraints. You should consult the official documentation for Microsoft Power BI or Microsoft Fabric for the minimum number of cores or resource requirements required for Data Activator. Just like the link that has already been posted above:

In addition, different Premium capacity tiers may have other limitations, such as concurrent queries, memory usage, data stream capacity, which may also affect the functionality of Data Activator.
