Hi, I recently published a report in a shared group on my organization. The report is powered by an Excel hosted by Sharepoint On Line. I get every excel sheet by connecting to a Sharepoint folder and I'm filtering the file and the corresponding sheet. So far, no problem.
But when I try to update the dataset, once published, all objects fail.
The Excel file has 3 sheets, but in the model I have added a table calculated with a DAX formula, which is based on a field in one of the excel sheets. This calculated table is the TIME Table...
Viewing the data from the data source, the 3 tables have no problem, but the problem is the want to see the data of the calculated table.
If I try to update the data source again, the problem is solved.
This is uncomfortable because the report is broken when I refresh the data!.
Any solution?
Thank you in advance!
Regards.
Interesting. I have a similar same issue. A have multiple tables that come from a DB. Then, I create a single calculated table based on another. When the data refreshes (no changes to the structure, columns, data types), the calculated table disappears and every visualisation/calculation based on that calculated table stops working naturally. It is a very odd situation.
Hi @andresgeb,
Can you share some detail info about your issue, it is hard to reproduce your issue on my side.
For example:
Detail information about the operation steps, screenshots, error log, data source, structure...etc...
