Good afternoon community!
I'm trying to create a data mart for the first time feeding from power bi data flows that I've previously created.
When creating the data mart, the selected entities show data and no errors, but we I "Save" the data mart, I get the following error that is not really helping me too much:
Any idea on what could be happening?
I know this is an old post, but I agree with the op that the error messages for DataMart are totally useless and do not provide any detail that can be used to identify the cause of the problem. Surely a more informative error message could be output? For example, what table and/or query step is the cause of the failure would be an enormous help.
I normally get around this by recreating the data model in Power BI Desktop and copy/pasting the Power Query there, as it provides much better error messages when something goes wrong. Hopefully this tip will assist any other poor unfortunates who encounter this problem!
