Hi,
I have a virtual machine with a on-premises data gateway installed in order to create PBI reports in PBI Service, using dataflows. Now, I would like to access data that is located in a DB in a different server/virtual machine. This other server/virtual machine also has already it's own on-premises data gateway.
Is it possible to configure an additional gateway to access the data on this other server and access the data using dataflows or is there any other way to achive this and access the data located in a different vitual machine?
Thanks in advance,
Tiago Dias
One machine requires one gateway (usually). So you have the correct setup.
If you have access to both gateways, you will see them under:
Then you can map your dataset to different data sources using different gateways.
