I have created a custom map in my maps google maps. It is polygon shapes with labelling of the name and some description.
How do I import it into shape map in power bi. It only allows export as KML file. But mapshaper does not allow for converting KML file.
I have also tried exporting as CSV then using mapshaper to convert to TOPOJson but it gives me just rectangle shapes.
Solved! Go to Solution.
You can also use mapshaper. It supports the following mapping file types: Shapefile, GeoJSON, TopoJSON, JSON records, CSV and SVG.
Also, don't forget to change the projection type to WGS84 (before exporting). This can be done within the console by typing "proj wgs84", you can check that worked by typing in "info".
