Ok so - I have a large dataset, for my visiual table, I have the name of the individuals in one column and the sum of their profits in another (PowerBi is automatically summing their collective profits which is what I want). However, I want the visual to only show the top 50 individuals based on their profit. Would there be a way to filter this visual even though the sum of the individuals profits are not within the dataset?

To show the top 50 individuals based on their profit, you can use a top N filter in the visual level filters pane. Here are the steps to do that:
