How can we connect data from PowerBI online to a MS teams website. Sharepoint is located within a company secure enviroment.
I would copy the link from excel online in the http bar and add into "Enter Site in URL to connect to" but will get the error "The URL Is not valid or you do not have permission to the site"
This was the link i use. Sample ONLY link.
Is there a resolution or am i copying the link wrongly? Thank you

Hi @Lihobday,
You are right. Taking your link as an example, it should be like this: https://microsoft.sharepoint.com/teams/TESTONLY

Hi @Lihobday,
Did you mean you want to connect to an online Excel located in Sharepoint? Please refer to this documentation. You need to copy the link from the Excel.
Best Regards,
Dale
Hi @Lihobday,
1. You can publish the Desktop file to the Service.
2. You can try Get data -> File -> Sharepoint Team sites.
Best Regards,
Dale
Thanks. I know how to do that but what should the link be? I seem to get an error msg when i copy the link over via teams or MS Sharepoint. Should i be removing some text from the http links?
