Hi there,
I am trying to connect to a My SQL database through a tunneled connection (apologies I am non-technical so not fully sure what this means). When trying to connect I get the following error - Details: "An error happened while reading data from the provider: 'Connection option 'server' is duplicated.'"
I have tried to replace the comma with a semi colon in the server but this doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions to solve this?
I am also using Paralells virtual machine to run windows so I can get power bi deskptop on mac with the mysql connector net 8.0.26, would this affect it?
Thanks,
Hi @Joe_Sharman
1.Please check that did you connect to the datasource using different credentials, then clear the credentials and try to connect the SQL again.
2.Try to change the Mysql version from 8.0.26 to older version, then try to replace the replace the comma with colon.
You can refer to the following link.
