I have a text box and some shapes with conditional formatting for background color that are visually being controlled by a Chiclet Slicer. Everything works perfectly in PBI Desktop, but once I publish to a workspace and use the Chiclet Slicer online the conditional formatting is delayed and will not happen until I click something else in the slicer. This visually makes it look like it does not work.
Does anyone know what might be causing this delay in the conditional formatting step? I am getting the same result in Chrome, IE, & Edge. The following link is a trimmed down version of my report where I am seeing the same issue.
When working correclty, click 1 slicer button will turn it orange and cause the entire row to highlight in dark blue. If you select 2 buttons in the same row the highlight will turn red and a red "Redundant Selection" error message will appear above immediately. Thank you in advance for any insite.
Upon further testing, my issue is only occuring on my company's computers. If I test it on my home computer, an iPad, or my cell phone it actually works perfectly; even if those devices are on my company's wifi. I am waiting for help from my IT department, but does anyone know what sort of network setting could be causing this interruption in the way PBI report steps are processed in a web browser?
As "Chiclet Slicer" is custom visual, please refer the below link.
Please drop an email to pbicvsupport@microsoft.com with all the screenshots and sample PBIX to investigate.
