The new card visuals we use recently randomly started showing borders and gridlines after pushing report updates to PowerBI service. There are none of these lines when working locally but they appear and can be removed in PowerBI service. The visual formatting options (specifically for borders and grids/gridlines) are slightly different in service than it is locally but these options are all turned off locally and then are being turned on when pushing to service. We can't update these in service because we're using Azure DevOps and not writing from the workspace to the repository.
I haven't seen that this is a reported issue/bug but it seems like something that shouldn't be happening.

i have the same topic as well and did workaround - it works well for me though I'm still not happy in our all environments report suddenly appearing this white lines:
1. activate the Customize lines
2. set the thickness & width as 0
Hello @CertaAnalytics
Thank you for reaching out regarding the issue with the New Card visual in Power BI. It appears that formatting differences between power bi desktop and power bi service may be causing the unexpected appearance of borders and gridlines after publishing.
Although you are using Azure DevOps for deployment, you might still have the ability to make adjustments directly within power bi service. After publishing the report, please try editing the visual in the service to manually remove the borders and gridlines.
Additionally, please note that the New Card visual has certain limitations and behaves differently compared to the classic card visual. Some formatting settings may not persist as expected when transitioning from Desktop to Service.
Please consider the following steps:

Thank you! This was a huge help. Our production environment is currently littered with awful looking borders and gridlines and we won't have a release until next week so I'm not very happy about this either.
@CertaAnalytics Aaaand you have stumbled onto one of the many annoying quirks of PowerBI since the start of 2024. Don't even get me started on Azure Maps lol.
