Capacity operation failed with error code CannotRetrieveModelException

Hello,

One of my paginated reports suddently started to display the following error:

"An error occured creating a table from this datasource. Capacity operation failed with error code CannotRetrieveModelException."

Not sure how to proceed to fix this.

Solved it by changing the SQL Endpoint setting to add tables automatically from the Lakehouse

Hi @guilhermealexa , thanks for posting your solution here. I was able to resolve my issue after seeing you reply. Went to sql end point setting and turned on the sync to default semantic model. Thanks, Pallavi

Thank you for your reply Sai Teja, unfortunately none of the attempts have worked. Is there anything else I can try? I can't create another paginated report connected to that semantic model either, same error.

For additional information, the error occasionally changes to:

"

Unable to render paginated report

There was an error communicating with Analysis Services. Please verify that the data source is available and your credentials are correct. DAX Evaluate queries work only on databases which have at least one tables."

Hi @guilhermealexa ,

Download your report and refresh it on desktop if it works then republish your report and check. If still not working try to publish it on any other workspace and check.

Thanks,

Sai Teja
