Cannot save dataflow due to CdsaModelValidationFailed

I am trying a save my dataflow in Power BI Service but I get an error message saying CdsaModelValidationFailed.

The dataflow is not complex, I am simply getting excel files from my busines onedrive adding basic transformations such as merging columns, sorting rows and adding columns.

WHy am I getting this and how do I resolve this?

Hi @DataVizK ,

I did not reproduce your problem in my testing.

Did this data flow have an error step in the query before it was saved and did it pass the validating queries stage?
Is this data flow being used as a data source by other data flows?

Does this error also occur if a newly created data flow is saved?

Thanks for your response

There is no error step and it passed the validating queries stage.

It is being used as at data source, but the error occured before this was set up and I do not need to use this as a data source (I have only done this as an workaround due to the error). I have had to reduce the transformations to only two in order for the error not to occur- this is not ideal.

It does occur when a new dataflow is saved.
