Hey @dhandevinit
Try this steps:

  • Verify server connectivity to make sure there are no network or firewall problems and that the Power BI Service can access the data source.
  • Model Version Mismatch: Verify that the Power BI Service has the most recent version of the dataset and report.
  • Verify that the user has the required permissions for the dataset and the report.
  • Problems with the gateway (for on-premise data sources): If you are using on-premises data sources, make sure the Power BI Gateway is operating properly.

My mistake, It needed permission to the server. I was using two accounts and one of them was not added to DB server.

Its working fine in PowerBI desktop. Semantic model is refreshing fine. Its just report on PowerBi app Service showing this error. Connection showing online as well.

Hi @dhandevinit

Verify Credentials & Refresh: Check data source credentials and ensure refresh is successful.

Optimize Model Size: Reduce model complexity or switch to Import Mode if needed.

Check Permissions: Ensure the user has the necessary access and roles to view the report.

Check Service Status: Verify if there are any known Power BI service outages or performance issues.

Investigate Model Dependencies: Check for any broken connections or missing data sources

Re-Publish the Report: Re-publish from Power BI Desktop to ensure synchronization with the Power BI Service.
