Can't remove trailing backslash from card in Power BI Service

I have a card that is displaying aggregated sales data by market and for some reason has an odd trailing "\" behind the M or K (depending on Millions or Thousands). It will display "1.52M\" rather than just "1.52M". Has anyone run into this or know a fix?

Hi @bpopwell ,

You can try replacing the "\" backslash with space in your data in Power Query editor.

Thanks,

Pragati

Hi @bpopwell ,

Based on my test, such a trailing backslash does not appear on my side.

I doubt the "\" is already existed in your original data. Please check the pbix file(to see the data) on Power BI Destop.

  • If the same error in Power BI Desktop, go to Power Query to check data.
  • If no error in Power BI Desktop, I'd suggest you upgrade to the latest version, and re-publish the report to service.

I'm using Power BI Service and am unable to open the Power Query Editor - is there another way?
