Bi Service Error: Refresh took too long to complete.

Hi experts,
needs a help with error in refresh though the data size is not more than 25MB( source is sql ). Even in power bi desktop the dataset is loading in query, however the refresh never completes!
Below is the message I see in BI Service.

"Something went wrong

The refresh operation failed because it took too long to complete. Consider reducing the size of your dataset or breaking it up into smaller datasets.

Please try again later or contact support. If you contact support, please provide these details."

Some of the best practices that can help you

• Remove unnecessary columns
• Remove unnecessary rows
• Group by and summarize
• Optimize column data types
• Preference for custom columns
• Disable Power Query query load
• Disable auto date/time
• Switch to Mixed mode

Examine your data source queries, use Power Query Diagnostics.  Avoid merges/joins, they can lead to large cartesian products.  Also check on any calculated columns in DAX that might not be optimized.
