Azure blob refresh

I have built a report in BI desktop using a local excel file and data from blob storage. The excel file will never be updated so I will never need it to be refreshed. The blob storage, however, gets updated every day. I've published the report to the service but the blob storage is not refreshing. Is there something I'm doing wrong? I thought because the blob was in the cloud it will automatically be updated daily?

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

@arti_r It is because you have a local file (Excel file) You need to install a personal gateway and schedule a refresh because you are mixing cloud and on-premises data sources.

I know this currently won't work with the On Premises Data Gateway because that one doesn't support the "hybrid" data sources yet, but I'm pretty sure the personal gateway does suppor this.

Thanks! I uninstalled the "On Premises" and installed the "Personal" and the error has disappeared.
