Automatically update visuals throught direct query

hi,

my company would like a simil real time dashboard using direct query with a power bi premium account.

we have power bi premium and we would like to know if it's possible to let the visuals in a report being updated without any interaction with the user.

Is it possible to do it and what is the min refresh time of the visuals configurable?

Hi, @Anonymous

It is unavailable to let the visuals in a report being updated without any interaction with the user. For DirectQuery, no data is imported or copied into Power BI Desktop. For relational sources, the selected tables and columns appear in the Fields list. As you create or interact with a visualization, Power BI Desktop queries the underlying data source, then you will view the updated data. As a workaround, you may try 'Automatic page refresh' which is suggested by @GilbertQ . You can set automatic page refresh intervals for reports that have been authored in Power BI Desktop, and published to the Power BI service.

Best Regards

Allan
