Hi,
I would like to automate the data set update in Power BI service.
Currently the source is on an Oracle db and I had to install the getway on my PC. This situation forces me to have the PC to refresh on Power BI service.
I have the possibility to use the same data on Azure. Is it possible to automate this operation using Azure?
I need to work on import query and not on direct query because I have too many limitations with the latter.
Best regard,
Dom
Hi,
If the datasource you described below is also in Azure then you will not need a data gateway if you connect to it, as the data is stored in the cloud. This gets around the issue of needing to have the PC on to connect to the data gateway for the Oracle DB.
