Automatic data refresh

Hello everyone,

i created a report in power bi desktop and then published it on service for my colleagues to see. The data are stored in some excel files and are updated every week. I would like to know if there's a way to update the report automatically every week, when the excel files are updated.

Many thanks

Best regards

@Astolfo do you have the right permissions in your tenant?

You should be able to connect up the data source to the gateway, but then I am tenant admin in a premium capacity so I get to do lots of things!

Do you have an admin you can work with or do you do it all yourself?

i got a message installing the gateway

Error generating an asymmetric key.
Exception message: registered Keyset invalid.

@Astolfo
You can go into the report and set a scheduled refresh and then link the files to the gateway and set your refresh times.
