Hello All,
I have the date formats in the below format ,I want the date field to be automatically updated to todays or recent date after refresh. How to do that?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi. Relative data is like the name says, it's for date and not only for day. You can do this, last and next of different periods like days, months, calendar months, years, etc.
Try it 🙂
I hope that will help,

Hi @likhithar ,
Not only day, such as past months, years are optional, depending on your needs.
Hope to help you solve the problem.
Best Regards,
Henry

Hi @likhithar ,
I agree with @ibarrau suggestion. You can use a relative date slicer or relative date filter. When the data is refreshed, the relative time period will automatically apply the appropriate relative date restriction.
I also did a test, adding the date to the slicer and using relative data to modify the time. Then after each refresh, the data of the day will be dynamically displayed.
If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information and let me know immediately. Looking forward to your reply.
Best Regards,
Henry

Hi. You can't do that with that visualization. The way to achieve this in Power Bi is using a Relative Date Filter. You can get that filter from a slicer with a Date Column or in the filter pane. In there you can do "This Day" or "Last Day" depending what you want. There is more about it here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/visuals/desktop-slicer-filter-date-range
I hope that helps,
