Automatic Refresh Hitting Limits on Direct Query?

Hi, I'm testing out if direct query will meet my needs for a real-time dashboard. I've started getting this error every hour now on a scheduled refresh:

"Exceeded the refresh request limit for this dataset within the last 24 hours."

I've checked that I do not have a scheduled refresh set up and the automatic page refresh is turned off in the dashboard.

Does direct query always automatically set up an hourly scheduled refresh? How does this work with 8 times a day refresh limits? Am I always going to see this error after 8 hours a day?

Hi @jbaz ,

Since Direct Query mode automatically opens to schedule tile refreshes, the default is one hour. If you're on a Pro license, you'll have 8 refreshes per day.

You can set the refresh time manually .Extend the single refresh time so that the number of refreshes per day decreases.
