Auto refresh Database from AWS without Data Gateway

Is it possible to auto-refresh a AWS Database (Ex: Redshift, RDS, etc) without using the PBI Data Gateway?

hi @Anonymous - I hvae not personally worked with this setup but it seems Power BI does support this - refer to the below links for more details on the same.
