Hi,
we are using Power Bi Pro to visualize our CRM data. We established a gateway and thus we can auto refresh the dashboards daily.
It works perfect as long as new lines in the extracted tables are being added. My issue: In one certain column of one of the tables existing values are being updated. The auto fresh does not realize that:
new line: auto refresh works
| status | client |
| 3 | A |
| 2 | B |
| 2 | C |
values in existing lines changed: auto refresh does not realize this change
| status | client |
| 2 | A |
| 2 | B |
What can I do? Thank you!
Hi @v-xiaotang
it's an Informix database and we access it via ODBC 64bit interface. As I said:
- manually via Desktop app: Complete refresh
- auto refresh or manually via Browser: For some reason only incremental update...
Thanks!
Hi @dkjk
Thanks for your reply,
try to refresh the report manaully and check if the data has changed, if still not changed, I'll suggest you to create a support ticket with MSFT to seek technical support https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/

Hey @dkjk ,
did you implement an incremental refresh or something similar?
As long as you only do a refresh, the whole data set will be refreshed. Then also changes should appear. If that's the case, can you double check that the changes also appear in the table you are connecting to?
Hi,
you mean the incremental refresh in the desktop app? No, it is switched off and I can't even switch it on.
When I manually refresh via the desktop app, then all the lines are being refreshed. Do I have to change something in the auto refresh settings online?
Thanks!
Daniel
Any ideas how to force that an entire table is being refreshed?
thx
Daniel
Hi @dkjk
what's the datasource? and what's the connection mode? actually, the whole dataset on Service will be refreshed wholly when you refresh.
