Hi all , I am new to PowerBI, I would like to confirm which situation I should consider use the premium features Asynchronous refresh and Backup and restore.
Please kindly provide me some examples and when/ why need to use them. Thanks a lot!
Solved! Go to Solution.
Asynchronous refresh: You have large datasets (there's a 10 GB partition limit) and/or you don't need to refresh all partitions all the time.
Backup and Restore: You are concerned abot losing datasets and/or are unable to recreate them from scratch (which is always a red flag). So you make your own backups of stuff that Microsoft is already backing up in the Azure cloud.
