Hello

I've been wondering, is there any way to make rls-ish on app?

For example workspace has 4 reports in it. One user sees all four, but second only three of them. And same thing happens when those users enter app.

RLS need to be defined in PowerBI desktop only, you can create various roles as per your need and can add / manage users for specific roles in the service which will be used in the App as well to see the content based on the role.

I am aware of rls as you wrote it, but I wanted to manage access to specific reports in app for users, instead of access to data rows, just like I described it previously.

Hi @Anonymous , 

My bad, misread your question; At this point of time, I don't think so it is possible from single workspace. This is being discussed in the Power BI Ideas as well - https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/40463662-create-multiple-apps-per-workspace

As a workaround, you can create multiple workspaces (or) Pin Live Page from reports to selected dashboards and share those dashboards specifically based on the need.
