Analyze in Excel doesn't work

Hi there,

Does anyone know why I can't use the function "Analyze in Excel" ? ,When I input my e-mail/password the Excel shows me a message "This error has occured: (The operation completed successfully)."

How can I fix it ?

I have several users trying to use this function, everybody has the same problem. I've tried the "Analyze in Excel updates" but the error still happens.

Thank you,

Ricardo

I am using the Click to Run version of Excel, and the Excel 2016 64bit

Have you tried using the Power BI Publisher for Excel?

https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/excel-dashboard-publisher/

I find that this works much better and easier.

Hi there, it would appear that the authentication is not working. When you put in your Username and password, does it give you the pop up screen?

And has it worked before?

I just tested and it is working fine for me.

Hi @GilbertQ,

Yes, it shows a pop up screen, I receive this error message when I put the e-mail / password. It hasn`t worked for me.

Maybe the Excel version ? Which version/patch are you using ?

Thank you,

Ricardo
