Analyse in Excel without measure

When connected to power bi dataset in excel using analyse in excel feature - is there a way to set default measure?

Currently when dimension attributes r selected its displaying as a cross join unless a measure such as fact row count is placed in values section of pivot table.

I was hoping since i'm selecting few fields from fact table ( basically a numeric field with aggregation none) and then few others from dimension they will align as per fact table relationship but thats not the case.

Are there any workarounds for this? Other than creating a dummy measure and always having to select this measure to make sense of the data?

Excel doesnt seem to work just based on the table fields, it needs a measure like rowcount to bind dimension attributes togther.

HI @RakeshSinghr,

I don't think you can modify the exported file content/design that generated from 'analyze in excel' feature.
You can open the file to design your pivot table and save change but it is impossible to directly apply to the default generated files.
