An existing connection was closed by the remote host

Hello everyone,

Since a few months some of the automatic updates of my reports run daily on the following error:

{‘error’:{‘code’: ‘DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_MashupDataAccessError’, ‘pbi. error‘:{’code‘: “DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_MashupDataAccessError”, “parameters”:{}, “details”:[{’code‘: “DM_ErrorDetailNameCode_UnderlyingErrorCode”, “detail”:{’type":1, “value”: ‘-2147467259‘}},{’code‘: “DM_ErrorDetailNameCode_UnderlyingErrorMessage”, “detail”:{’type":1, “value”: ’OData: No data can be read from the transmission connection: An existing connection was closed by the remote host.‘}},{’code‘: “DM_ErrorDetailNameCode_UnderlyingHResult”, “detail”:{’type‘:1, “value”:’-2147467259‘}},{’code‘: “Microsoft.Data.Mashup.ValueError.DataSourceKind”, “detail”:{’type‘:1, “value”: “Dynamics365BusinessCentral”}},{’code": ’Microsoft. Data.Mashup.ValueError.DataSourcePath‘, “detail”:{’type‘:1, “value”: “Dynamics365BusinessCentral”}},{’code‘: “Microsoft.Data.Mashup.ValueError.Reason”, “detail”:{’type":1, “value”: “DataSource.Error”}}], “exceptionCulprit”:1}}} Table: Posted Sales Documents.

At first, the reports no longer updated at all. I was able to solve the problem by switching from parallel loading of the tables to sequential loading (each table individually). The reports now take twice as long to load, but at least they are updated. However, reports still run daily on the error without a recognisable system. Sometimes it is report A, sometimes it is report B.
The table shown below as the source of the error also changes every time.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this or has anyone ever had this problem?

Does your OData source use a load balancer?
