Access Issues for users

Screenshot_1.png

Hi Guys ,

Thanks for help in advance.

I have a User named A, who has currently moved from the office distribution group 1 to group 2

Yet the User can access and view the report 5 (Viewable only to office distribution group 1 ) and not the report 6.

I'm currently a little lost as i've looked at the RLS and Direct Permissions as well and they look fairly normal to me.

Any thing that I could be missing out ?

Thanks Abhay

Hey @abhay ,

Reading into what you are asking - you are using RLS, right?

If so, then are you using AD groups or groups that you have created or are you using individual names?

Hi ,

At the moment im using the Office distribution lists/groups made and handled by the IT team of the company.

Hey @abhay ,

If IT is managing the group, I would confirm with them first that the individual has been moved in that group.  And, I would confirm that the group name I am using is the exact same group that the individual was moved from/to so as to be sure that the issue is not landing there.

Hi ,

I did check with them and the user has been moved to the right DL group.

Yet the issue remains the same.

Hi, @abhay

Have you checked this user's role in current workspace?

Make sure the current user role is 'Viewer' and not 'Member'.
