In order to run an Expport to file API I need to get a token which is described here:
Getting the correct access token for the resource that you want to access can sometimes be tricky.
My report is using neither of these databases. How do I get a token?
Thanks
Hi @Markzolotoy ,
I don't seem to understand what you need. If your report is using neither of these databases. then what data source is your report created based on?

The data in injected into report using its parameters. It is in JSON format. The report cannot talk to DB directly. There are special algoritms that prepare data in the backend and inject it into reports.
What's your report datasource?

However, actual data will be injected into report via parameters.
Hi, @Markzolotoy Are you need to export the data from paginated report that use SQL Server as data source? You can use Power Automate instead of REST API. First create a connection for SQL Server and config by Data Gateway (need to install first), then use Export Paginated report ( also support parameter)
No, I need to run a report and automatically export it to Excel and get the file back. All of this needs to be excuted from the backend of a web application.
